USG Professionals is op zoek naar een Freelance Legal Counsel / Data Protection Officer voor een boeiende fulltime opdracht binnen een grote Belgische organisatie actief in een innovatieve en sterk gereguleerde omgeving.

Dan biedt deze opdracht een mooie combinatie van privacy, commerciële contracten, innovatie en corporate legal ondersteuning binnen een dynamische context.
Als Legal Counsel / ad interim DPO ondersteun je verschillende interne teams en stakeholders op juridisch vlak. Je combineert operationeel contractwerk met inhoudelijk advies rond privacy en innovatieve projecten.
Je staat onder andere in voor:
- Adviseren rond GDPR, privacy en data protection vraagstukken
- Opnemen van de rol van ad interim DPO
- Opstellen, analyseren en onderhandelen van commerciële contracten
- Juridische ondersteuning bij IT-, digital-, innovatie- en samenwerkingsprojecten
- Ondersteunen van corporate en M&A-gerelateerde dossiers
- Adviseren rond intellectuele eigendom en contractuele risico’s
- Samenwerken met business, procurement, IT en externe advocaten
- Vertalen van complexe juridische materie naar pragmatisch advies
- Opvolgen van relevante wetgeving en compliance vereisten
Your Profile
- Master in de Rechten
- Relevante ervaring als Legal Counsel, advocaat of freelance legal consultant
- Goede kennis van GDPR/privacy en contractenrecht
- Ervaring met IT/IP, commercial law, corporate law of M&A is een sterke plus
- Je werkt zelfstandig, pragmatisch en businessgericht
- Sterke communicatieve en onderhandelingsvaardigheden
- Vlotte kennis van Nederlands, Frans en Engels
